Our municipal (city) water is about 25 grains per gallon hard. I installed an electric tankless water heater a few years ago at a rental I own. It would lime up every 4-7 months and I would have to send it to the manufacturer for cleaning. This went on for 2-3 years. After installing the HardnessMaster Electronic Water Conditioner in March of 2011 I HAVE HAD NO MORE PROBLEMS WITH MY TANKLESS HEATER! It has saved me hundreds of dollars.
